- Driving is straight forward but be aware of slowly yielding to local drivers so they can pass you on single lane roads.

- If you love nature, do yourself a favour and discover these natural wonders of Crete. Start by taking the scenic drive and hike down to Kourtaliotiko Gorge. The water is cold as hell but it’s worth it. Continue your gorge tour by making your way south to Preveli Gorge. Take in the caves, palms and olive trees along the way.
